Cover design
Pain is a literary journal published in Oxford. The cover of each issue is the same except for a change of colourway. The sideways text, set in a condensed sans serif, is intended to reflect the playfulness of the journal's tongue-in-cheek title, and to catch the eye on a busy newsstand. On the reverse of the jacket there is a list of contrubutors.
